The Law Council’s perspectives on effective submission writing and law reform advocacy strategies were shared with ANU law students this week when representatives of the Law Council Secretariat presented a session at ANU College of Law’s Law Reform and Social Justice Program.
The Law Council discussed with students the importance of submission writing in the development of public policy, and the role of the Law Council, its committees and Constituent Bodies in contributing to the law reform process. Students were encouraged to become involved in policy reform projects, and Law Council representatives shared practical tips on how to approach submission writing and advocacy.
