Exposure Draft of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Modernising Business Communications) Bill 2021 (Exposure Draft Bill)

The submission to the Treasury in relation to the consultation on 'Improving the technology neutrality of Treasury portfolio laws' was prepared by the Corporations Committee, Digital Commerce Committee and Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section. 

In general terms, the Business Law Section supports the overall approach of the Exposure Draft Bill of seeking to facilitate electronic business transactions and making Treasury portfolio laws more technology neutral.
