“Lawyers make a substantial contribution to in a variety of ways, including to the social, economic, and democratic health of our nation. Kirsty and Rob demonstrate the many ways in which this contribution is made,” Law Council of Australia President, Juliana Warner said.
In the wake of the terrible floods experienced across NSW in 2022, Kirsty helped local businesses in the central west of the state navigate the insurance process and begin to get back on their feet.
Kirsty provided more than 250 pro bono hours to her community and went on to advocate for national reforms to improve outcomes for the victims of natural disasters in the future.
