Corporations Committee
The Corporations Committee takes an active role in consultation and submissions to the Commonwealth Parliament, the Treasury, ASX, the Takeovers Panel, ASIC and other regulators and bodies on law and policy reforms relating to Australia’s corporations and securities laws. The Committee’s interests include corporate governance, fundraisings, capital markets, takeovers, continuous disclosure, directors’ and officers’ duties, and the liability frameworks for corporations and their officers. The Committee collaborates with the Financial Services Committee on financial services regulation.
