RRR Law

Rural, Regional and Remote Lawyers and Communities

RRR Law is the Law Council of Australia’s central hub for lawyers and students wanting to learn more about working in the Rural, Regional and Remote (RRR) areas of Australia, as well as access to RRR information and resources.

The Law Council of Australia is committed to developing strategies and policies to address the challenges faced by RRR lawyers and the communities they serve, and promoting the important role of RRR lawyers and the significant contribution they make to servicing the legal needs of RRR communities.

In 2020 the Law Council, drawing upon the expertise of the Constituent Bodies, the Law Council’s RRR Committee, and the Justice Project Report, developed a RRR National Strategic Plan focusing on five key areas for action, with the corresponding projects to be implemented by the Law Council over 2021-23.
